Chocolate Dipped Apple Pops

Chocolate Dipped Apple Pops

My son had a buddy over after school last week and they are usually starving when they get here so I decided to surprise them both with these chocolate dipped apple pops. A crispy and tart green apple slice dipped in chocolate then drizzled with white chocolate followed by a sprinkling of mini M&M’s and sprinkles. Both of the boys loved these apple pops and my daughter did too. They were a super quick and simple treat to make and they put a huge smile on the kids’ faces. You can’t beat that.

    1. Hi! I used Nestle semi sweet chocolate and had the most difficult time trying to make the chocolate stick to the slices apple. Any recommendations on how I can easily dip the apple slices and have the chocolate stick? Thank you.

    2. Hi Stef,

I have a feeling the apples you used were very juicy. Next time, try patting them dry with a towel before dipping. Wet apples won’t allow the chocolate to stick.

    1. I feel, they are best if made and eaten on the same day. That being said, my kids enjoyed the last two for a school lunch treat the following day and said they were great.

  1. I tried the recipe last night, using red apples instead of green. After carving a hole in the center to remove the seeds, I saw how this was going to be a bit of a challenge as far as covering the entire slice with chocolate. Also, this now didn’t leave much room to pierce a stick through the bottom. How did you get slices that looked flawlessly seedless?

    1. I didn’t use the middle slice with the seeds (I sliced of the edges and ate it). I also made sure to cut the apples into thick slices, so the stick would slide in without ripping. Hope this helps.

  2. Thank you for this wonderful idea. My daughter wants something different for her class birthday treat and this is perfect!
