Soy Garlic Flank Steak

Soy Garlic Flank SteakI found this recipe on the Food Network that had great reviews and sounded delicious. I let the flank steak marinate for over 24 hours and then cooked it in my grill pan – it smelled amazing while cooking. The steak turned out flavorful, tender, and delicious. Thanks for a great recipe, Alton Brown.

How to Make Soy Garlic Flank Steak

Combine the olive oil, soy sauce, green onion, minced garlic, lime juice, red pepper flakes, cumin, and brown sugar together in a food processor or blender then puree. Pour the marinade over the flank steak in a large zip lock bag then seal and place into the refrigerator for 24 hours.

Remove the meat from the refrigerator at least 20 minutes prior to grilling/cooking. Preheat the grill pan over medium-high heat and coat with cooking spray. Once the pan is hot, add the flank steak and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until it’s cooked to your desired degree of doneness. Let the meat rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing it against the grain. Enjoy.
