Chocolate and Peanut Butter Filled Crescent Rolls

Chocolate and Peanut Butter Filled Crescent Rolls
When I saw the recipe for chocolate croissants on Noble Pig, I knew I would be making them immediately. I surprised my kids today by baking these tasty after school snacks. Both of my children love the combination of peanut butter and chocolate so I decided to adapt Cathy’s recipe a bit by adding a layer of peanut butter. Both my daughter and son gave them a double thumbs up. I was also told that I was the “coolest mom ever”. Thanks for the great recipe Cathy.

Chocolate and Peanut Butter Filled Crescent RollsPreheat the oven to 375 degrees. Place the unrolled crescent rolls onto an ungreased cookie sheet (I used my silpat mat). Spread a layer of peanut butter on each triangle; top with chocolate chips.

Roll from the bottom of the triangle to the point. Place in the oven and bake for 10-11 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and serve while hot. Enjoy.

Made these the other morning, they were amazing! My twins never like anything for breakfast other than cereal and they ate 2 of these each. Thanks for all the great easy recipes you post on here. I have tried many of your other recipes (mostly cookie recipes) as well and I would say they are all winners.

For the left-overs, can you refrigerate them and reheat?

Omg, my daughter and I just made these but with a twist. Peanut butter and Nutella, even put marshmallows in too…a combination, some with only PB and marshmallows,, some with PB and Nutella only, and some with all three! Even added honey to some! Yummo is all I can say!

Made these tonight, they came out delicious! The family loved them! I actually preferred them colder than warm, but I’m down in Panama right now so it was hot outside. I’d love to try them on a cold winter day too!
