9x9-inch baking dish
Ingredients
Parmesan Rolls:
½cup + 2 tbspof milkwarmed
2tbspbuttermelted
1eggwhisked
¼cupParmesan cheesefreshly grated
2 ¼cupsflour
1tbspsugar
¾tspsalt
1tsprapid rise yeast
1eggwhisked for egg wash before baking
Toppings:
1tbspbuttermelted
2tbspParmesan cheesefreshly grated
1tbspfresh parsleychopped
Instructions
Place all dough ingredients in the bread machine in the order listed. Select the dough cycle and press start. Once the bread machine stops (it was one and a half hours on my machine).
Grease a 9x9-inch baking dish. Divide the dough into 9-12 pieces (depending on the size of roll you desire) then shape each piece into a ball. Place in the prepared baking dish.
Lay a piece of wax paper over the rolls and set it in a warm place to rise for another hour. When the dough has doubled in size, preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Lightly beat the remaining egg and brush it over the rolls which helps give the rolls a golden brown color and sheen.
Place the dish in the oven and bake for 20 minutes, until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and brush with melted butter then sprinkle with parmesan cheese and fresh parsley. Serve and enjoy.
