Garlic-Herb Compound Butter

Garlic-Herb Compound Butter

I am serving steaks for dinner tonight and I wanted to make them a little extra special by topping them with some garlic-herb compound butter. Compound butter is not only super simple to make, but you can also use whatever herbs you have on hand, and it makes everything you top it with a little more flavorful. This garlic-herb compound butter is wonderful topped on cooked veggies, potatoes, pasta, meat, and seafood and it’s also really tasty slathered on freshly baked bread.

  1. Using compound butter sounds great for many things such as you did here and I always tell myself I need to make some since it is so easy but I have yet to do it – just plain lazy I guess.
