Back from Arizona!

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday break with your family and friends. We took a road trip to Arizona to visit my husband’s family for Christmas. We enjoyed spending time with my husband’s father and his wife in Yuma, Arizona where we spent quality time together with other family members, visited a camel farm, and enjoyed a fancy dinner out celebrating my father-in-law’s birthday. We also had a wonderful time in Ajo, Arizona with my husband’s mother and her husband, where we ate lots of tasty food, did a few group puzzles, golfed, and enjoyed each other’s company. We also had a blast visiting Las Vegas, Nevada on our way to Arizona and the Hoover Dam on our way home. It was a fun-filled trip that we all enjoyed.

I’ve finished 9 loads of laundry and I’ll be back to cooking tomorrow.

  1. Happy New Year! Thank you for sharing the lovely photos of you and your family, and the beautiful countryside you traveled through. Be sure to get more pictures of you and your kids, as, with my family grown, I know too well how fast time flies, and you will want more of those later. I often was the picture-taker and so didn’t get in the pictures enough. Anyway, thanks again!

  2. I’m always amazed at how big your kids are getting, until I remember that my little boys aren’t little any more, either. It looks like a wonderful vacation, and I’m glad you had time to enjoy your family. 9 loads of laundry isn’t too bad for the length of time you were gone, though. Welcome back, and happy new year!
