Pan Fried Pork Chops

Pan Fried Pork Chops

Pan-fried pork chops are simple to make but totally comforting and delicious. I served these crisp coated pork chops with some of the homemade pear sauce on the side as well as the ultimate twice-baked potatoes and a big green salad. The pork had a delicious crust on the outside and it was tender and juicy on the inside. We all thought the pan-fried pork chops were tasty and they paired nicely with the rest of the meal.

How to Make Pan-Fried Pork Chops

Place the flour with the paprika, garlic powder, sea salt, freshly cracked pepper, and cayenne pepper together in a large rimmed plate; mix until well combined.

Pat the pork chops dry then season each side of the chops with a bit of sea salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste.

Heat the oil in a large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat until HOT.

Dredge both sides of the pork chops well in the seasoned flour then gently place them into the HOT skillet. Cook undisturbed for 4-5 minutes then flip over and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until cooked through and golden brown. Remove from the oil and place on a paper towel lined plate before serving. Enjoy.
