Banana, Chocolate, and Peanut Butter Milkshake

Banana, Chocolate, and Peanut Butter Milkshake

I have a feeling I will be making this milkshake whenever I have overripe bananas to use up. I decided to slice up the ripe bananas and freeze them for a few hours. When my kids came home from school, I melted some chocolate chips and mixed the chocolate with peanut butter before adding it to ice-cold milk. I blended for a few seconds until combined then I added the frozen banana slices and blended until creamy. This made the perfect milkshake and much healthier than regular ones. My kids were THRILLED with these shakes and drank them up in minutes.

  1. So long as I leave the peanut butter out this sounds yummy. The only thing edible in this world that both of us hate is peanut butter 🙁 Have a good week Diane

  2. Mark’s been consuming a lot of milkshakes, because I’m trying to keep weight on him, since he’s playing football this year. This sounds like a great offering! Great pictures of your kids, too; hope school is going well for them so far this year.
