Vacation Recap

We’re back from a whirlwind trip to Idaho to see some of our family. We had a great time catching up with friends and family, watching the kids run through sprinklers, celebrating birthdays, playing rounds of rummikub, eating great food, lighting fireworks, going to the zoo, enjoyed a few fabulous restaurants, and playing at the lake. It was a wonderful trip and we were so happy to see some of our favorite people.

I’ll be back to cooking tomorrow.

  1. Now I know why you’ve met another mastiff named Brutus! It looks like you had a wonderful vacation, and I’m glad to see that your newest family member got on so well with everyone else. Welcome home.

  2. Oh Pam what a nice recap.
I miss going to the lake.
Don’t get me wrong I love the ocean, but I do miss the mountains and the lake at times.
Can’t remember the last time we had a vacation–student loans and mortgage first!
    Happy belated birthday my dear!

  3. It looks like you had an amazing vacation, Pam! We just returned from vacation and drove through Idaho on our way from Montana to Wyoming- it’s a beautiful state! I am a potato lover, so I was in heaven driving past all of those potato farms! Your photos are awesome- I especially love the photo of your dogs all tuckered out! 🙂
