Sweet and Salty Chocolate Bark

Sweet and Salty Chocolate Bark

What a fun afternoon project! My kids wanted something different for this week’s school lunch treat. I decided to make some fun and festive chocolate bark with lots of M & M’s, sprinkles, and salty pretzel. It was made within 10 minutes and only needed to be refrigerated for 15 minutes to set. I wrapped the individual broken pieces in saran wrap and stored them in a covered plastic container in the refrigerator. My kids were absolutely thrilled with this fun and tasty treat and I loved that it was done within 30 minutes!

Gorgeous! I make cookies and candies to give away in tins at Christmas. This is definitely on my list to make! (BTW, there is a small typo you might want to correct: “…and drizzle the white chocolate back and forth over the bark.” )

  2. I’ve seen bark made with melting chips, but I’ve never seen the almond bark you showed in your picture! It’s exciting! (how dull my life is, if candy is exciting.) I’m sure your kids loved these lunch box treats, and the other kids doubtless wanted to trade with them!
