Tropical Margarita

Tropical Margarita

My sweet and wonderful mother-in-law recently visited and brought me a big bottle of coconut tequila. She knows that I love anything with coconut and tequila is no exception! I made a margarita on the rocks using this coconut tequila, some margarita mix, and pineapple juice. The flavor combination was amazing! I normally have a sugar (or salt) rim on the glass, but I wasn’t in the mood. I loved the coconut/pineapple combination with the tart margarita mix. It was the perfect cocktail to enjoy outside after a very long day. Thank you, Fran!!!

How to Make a Tropical Margarita

If you would like a sugar rim (or salt), rub a lime wedge around the rim of your glass then dip it in a small bowl of sugar (or salt). Fill a glass with ice. Add 1.5 oz of coconut tequila then add 2 oz of margarita mix and 2 oz of pineapple juice. Mix well then serve with a lime wedge and straw. Enjoy. Side Note: If you prefer your margarita slushy, blend in a blender. Cheers!

  1. I can believe it is good as I make something similar. I make my regular margaritas and some virgin pina coladas then add some of the colda mix to margs and blend – Bev loves them.
