Italian Salad with Fresh Basil Vinaigrette

I made this salad to go along with the Fresh Basil Vinaigrette that I posted yesterday.  I can’t believe I’ve never made a salad with all of these goodies on it before.  I loved the spicy pepperocinis with the tangy olives and the crunchy croutons.  This salad tasted amazing drizzled with the fresh basil vinaigrette.  It was a huge hit with all of us… my kids gobbled up every last bite of salad from their plates.  I love that!

Make the Fresh Basil Vinaigrette (click the link for recipe).  Set aside to let flavors mingle.

Combine romaine lettuce, kalamata olives, tomato slices, bell pepper slices, pepperocinis, red onion, Parmesan cheese, Parmesan cheese, and croutons together in a bowl.  Drizzle with fresh basil vinaigrette, season with sea salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste, then toss to coat evenly.  Serve immediately.  Enjoy.

Italian Salad with Fresh Basil Vinaigrette

Ingredients:

Romaine lettuce, chopped
Tomato, sliced into wedges
Kalamata olives, sliced
Pepperocinis
Baby bell peppers, sliced
Red onion, sliced
Parmesan cheese, grated
Croutons

Directions:
