Parmesan Roasted Potatoes

Parmesan Roasted PotatoesI wanted a simple side dish for a roasted chicken. I had some baby Dutch yellow potatoes and Parmesan cheese so I decided to roast them together. Not only was this extremely easy to make it tasted great. The Parmesan was salty and crisp and made these little potatoes taste wonderful. My kids both really liked them and my husband and I loved them. I can’t believe I haven’t made these before.

Parmesan Roasted Potatoes:

Ingredients:

  • 9-10 small baby Dutch yellow potatoes
  • 3-4 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Garlic powder, to taste
  • Sea salt and fresh cracked pepper, to taste
  • Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish

  3. These look fantastic but i’m leary because when i try to bake with parmesan cheese it begins to burn after 10 minutes or so…any suggestions?

    1. Me too! I just made these last night and they took forever to cook. They were tasty though!

  4. I made these recently, and they were SO GOOD! I’m always trying out different ways to make potatoes, and this is definitely one of my favorites. Thanks for sharing!

  5. These are the bomb if you mix dry Ranch dressing powder in with the cheese! Make sure you omit all other salt then 🙂

  6. I also just roast mine directly without par-boiling– less work and they seem more “fried” to me. My only concession as I don’t eat fried foods anymore and I miss it sometimes…

  7. I am making these potatoes as we speak. I was just wondering if they are suppose to be hard after the 4-5 minutes of boiling??

  8. Do you start the potatoes in cold water and then bring them to a boil or put them into the boiling water?

    Thanks!
